Urgent push notifications can be sent to league or event players directly from the app! If you are a league or event admin and have access to the manage tools, follow the steps below to get a push sent.

Sending a push notification from the app

On your league or event in the app, you'll notice the Manage event button at the top of the event -you must be logged into your account and added as an admin to access this.

  1. Tap Manage event (or the wrench and screwdriver icon in the upper-right of an active scorecard)

  2. Tap Send urgent push notification

  3. From the Send urgent alert notification screen, use the dropdown to choose Send to which group?, What type of message is this?, and fill in the Message text.

  4. When you're ready, tap Send!

  5. Once the message is sent, players will receive a push notification on their device and if they have the app open will also see a banner display.

  6. To review the push notifications you've sent, scroll to the bottom of the Send urgent alert screen. Here you'll see Notification history and can expand to see who the urgent alerts have been delivered to.

Sending a push notification from your desktop

If you're working from a desktop, sending a push notification will look a bit different.

  1. From your League tools, tap Events and then tap Send urgent alert.
Alternatively, you can tap Urgent alerts in the left side bar, then tap the event you'd like to send an urgent alert for, and you'll see the Send urgent alert screen populate.

  2. Just like above, use the drop down options to select Send to which group? and What type of message is this? Fill in the Message text, and tap Send!

  3. Your Notification history will populate with any sent messages, along with who they were sent to.

Do push notifications go to all players?

All checked in players will receive a push notification on their device, as well a banner that displays in app if they have the app open. If players are not checked into the event or registered in any way, they won't receive an alert.
