When setting up your League Event, you are given the option to select your Play Format. Singles or Teams format options are available for Leagues.

What's the difference between Singles and Teams?

Singles format is played when one player is playing for their own score, versus Teams format where multiple players (typically 2) score as a team and one score is recorded. The same scoring options apply for both play formats.

When creating a Teams event, players are given the option to group players by team. Tapping the 3 lines next to a player's name allows you to move a player from one team to another.

Please note - when creating a Teams scorecard it's important that the scorekeeper assigns the correct players to a team prior to tapping Create Scorecard. Once a scorecard is created, there is no way to rearrange, add, or delete players from the scorecard. You can however delete the scorecard, and then re-create it with the correct teams.

If Teams is selected, can I turn on Scorecard Statistics?

Scorecard Statistics will be automatically disabled for Teams event, as these types of rounds are more casual and often include scores that don't represent an individual player's scoring ability.

Because Scorecard Statistics are turned off, Teams scores will not be included within the Course Leaderboard.

Can I change the play format after an event has been created?

Yes, play format can be changed anytime before players begin playing. To change the Play Format head to your League Tools, tap Events, the League Event you'd like to edit, then the Edit pencil. Once in your General Event Settings, scroll down to Play Format and change your selection. Remember to tap Update Event at the bottom of the page to make sure your changes save!

Can I run a multi-round tournament with one round of singles and another round of teams?

No, you'd need to set these up as separate league events, which would each have their own separate leaderboard. However, you can manage some singles events, and other teams events within the same league.
