If you have more than one tee pad on a hole, each tee pad must have a distinct position. This means, they cannot both be marked as Main. An additional position will be needed.

Think of a tee position as the guide to which tee pad players should play from. If there is only one tee pad on your course, it's best to use Main. Otherwise, multiple tee position names should be used to distinguish between tee pads on each hole. Some common position schemes are Short/Long, Main/Alternate, A/B/C, White/Blue/Etc.
