With a free UDisc account, syncing scorecards with your friends is simple!

As long as your friend has their own UDisc account, adding them to a scorecard can be done in one of two ways.

  1. Open the UDisc App and go to More -> Players. Tap the icon in the top right to Add New Player.

  2. While creating a new scorecard, after selecting the course and layout, tap the icon in the top right to Add New Player.

    • Find Nearby Players will bring up the Friend Lobby. This uses bluetooth to show nearby players in the Friend Lobby. (Have your friend join the lobby by opening the UDisc App and going to the Profile tab then clicking on the Friend Lobby button.) Once they do so, you will see them appear on your device and you can add them as a friend.

    • Find by username or PDGA # will provide you with a search box. Here you can search for your friend using their UDisc username, or PDGA #. (Please note, their PDGA # must be linked to their UDisc account. If it is not, you will not be able to locate them this way.)

    • Create New Player will allow you to create a local player on your device. This player will not link to any existing UDisc account, and will only appear on your device. (Encourage your friend to sign up for their own free UDisc account so they can begin tracking their rounds now!)

With CardCast (which is now built-in to UDisc), anyone in your group can keep score on their own phone, and scores update instantly for everyone across all devices. Players can keep score for themselves and/or for other players on the card, and you can easily switch which player is keeping score throughout the round.
