The hole count reported in the Course Listing is derived from the number of holes mapped in Map Manager. Sometimes, when setting up Map Manager, Course Ambassadors mistakenly add holes that are duplicates of other holes, or only contain tees that play to existing targets. This leads to an incorrect representation of the true number of unique holes.

In order to ensure the most up to date and accurate Course Directory, you may see a note in your Course Tools stating, “The total hole count should not be higher than the number of installed targets.” This means a UDisc Team Member modified the number of holes that your course displays. The number of holes is not representative of a specific layout, but rather the number of actual installed targets.

For instance, you might have 9 installed targets at your course and use those 9 targets to create an 18 hole layout. However, the course listing should reflect a 9 hole course, not an 18 hole course, because the total number of holes displayed in the directory should represent the total number of installed targets on your course.
