What is Global average hole score?

Global average hole score – only available on UDisc Pro – gives you a glimpse into how difficult (or easy) a hole plays and allows you to compare this to your average and best scores!

When tapping to select a layout, you’ll notice each eligible Smart Layout displays the global average, designated by the blue globe icon, stacked on top of your personal average for this layout. Alongside your average score, you’ll also see your best score. Layouts that you haven’t played yet won’t include your average score or best score.

Viewing Global average hole score in an active scorecard

After tapping into start your round, you’ll now notice the global average hole score at the top of your scorecard with the ability to expand this section. If expanded, you’ll see additional data displayed along with your stats (average and best). The colored bar graph breaks down the percentage of carded birdies, pars, bogeys, and bogey + (relative to par).

If you haven’t yet played the specific tee and target combination displayed, you’ll notice a message that indicates this.

Changing tee and target combination

Have you ever opened your scorecard and realized the targets haven’t been updated in UDisc to match the current course set up? Tap the orange Change target button to adjust the target you’re throwing to, or tee you’re playing from. After you’ve done this, you’ll notice a light blue shading (see boxed area below) to signify that the target or tee modified has been changed within your scorecard.

Changing par

Is the par not matching the tee sign or want to play a different par? Tap the Par button next to the orange target selector to adjust the par. Once adjusted, all bar graphs displayed for global average hole score and your stats will be updated to match the selected par.
