If you'd like to get a sense for how many players are going to show up in advance of your league event, then first make sure to enable pre-registration for your event.
What is pre-registration?
Pre-registration is not the same as player check-in; pre-registration can be opened well before the event date, allowing you to get a headcount before the events starts. Using pre-registration also gives you access to the Updates tab to send communications to pre-registered players.
How do I enable pre-registration?
There are two options that can be used when wanting to create an event with pre-registration.
Use the formal sign up template. If you want to create a single day, single layout event, or use the "recurring events" option to schedule your entire season, select the Formal sign up template when creating a new league event. This template will have automatically pre-fill the pre-registration settings you need! Scroll down to the "sign up type" section to change when pre-registration opens and closes.
Use the advanced template. If you want to create a multi-round, multi-layout, multi-pool event, this is the best template for you. After selecting this template, you'll fill in your basic event settings, then tap "continue." From here, you'll be pushed into Event tools where you can set up pre-registration.
Tap the Registration tap, and select "Yes" next to I will be using UDisc for registration. Set your registration open and close dates and times and click "Save."
