How can I set my event to allow pick-your-own card?
Pick your dream card! Select your own card is now available for singles and BYOP (bring your own partner) events using UDisc for pre-registration. Please note: this setting is only supported for the first round of single-day events.
For league events, use the Formal sign up template to quickly create an event with pre-registration. Learn more about league event templates here. Other events will have the Registration page in their event admin tools, or if you chose a Casual sign up league event template then you can convert it to an Advanced event to enable registration.
Can I edit an existing scheduled event to enable pick-your-own card?
How are players prevented from overbooking a tee time?
The How many players are on a typical card? prompt matches the number of spots available for players to select on any given card. You can communicate any additional rules or expectations for grouping sizes and card selection via the Player message on the card selection page.
How will players know which available card is their best option?
Players will see which tee times or starting holes are available, and which players have already selected each card. The card groupings won't publish automatically; you will find them in a Draft state on the Cards page of your event admin tools. You can make edits as needed, and then publish card groupings individually, or all at once.
