What is required to play in an event that uses UDisc for scoring?


All players are required to have a UDisc account. Please note however, this does not require UDisc Pro, or that they download and use the app. Anyone can sign up for a free account at UDisc.com/sign-up and play your event, even if they don’t wish to download UDisc. A free UDisc account now includes unlimited scorecards!


Is walk-up registration supported?


In order to set up your rounds and create scorecards ahead of time, players will need to be registered before the event. If you are interested in running a check-in style, flex start event, check out our Leagues Platform.


If an external registration site is used, can I import players into my UDisc Event?


Currently there is no bulk import option. If players are not registering on UDisc themselves, they can be added from the Players tab using their UDisc username. Alternatively, you can also turn on player check in to allow players check themselves in and create their o Learn more about that here!


Can I export scores after an event?


Exporting event results to a CSV is not currently supported. 


How do I enable UDisc Scoring for my event?


There are 2 ways that UDisc Scoring can be enabled.

Why can’t I select Teams when enabling UDisc Scoring?


Now you can! As of February 5, 2024 teams scoring was added to UDisc Events.


How do I set up divisions? Are divisions required?


At least one division is required to score your event using UDisc. If divisions were not added during listing, you can add them at any time from the Divisions tab of the Event Manage Tools. If you need assistance knowing which divisions to select, check out this dedicated article.


Can I change the titles of divisions?


If you wish to have custom names for your divisions, simply select the Add custom division option. You will then enter the custom division code, and name that will be displayed. Please note that the custom division code has a 6 character limit.


Where do I select the layout(s) being played during the event?


When setting up your rounds from the Rounds tab of your Event tools, you will be prompted to select which course and layout is being played for that round. To learn more about setting up your rounds check out this dedicated article.


What if I have different pools playing different layouts?


Multi-pool support is now available! You can assign divisions to different pools, and set which course and layout each pool will play for each round from the Divisions & Pools tab of your Event tools.


How will players access their scorecard?


Once you have set up your scorecards from the Cards tab of your Event tools, and published the round, the created scorecards will automatically sync to the player’s UDisc app. The scorecard will remain locked until the beginning of the round, at which point any player on the card will be able to access it and enter scores.


Can a TD create a cut line in between rounds?


Currently it is not possible for admins to create a cut line when using UDisc to score their event.


How can I share the event leaderboard?


What is the difference between Events and Leagues on UDisc?


The Leagues and Events platforms have some key differences. Leagues do not allow for pre-arranging scorecards or for playing more than one round during an event. For more information on running a league on UDisc, check out this article!
